State invites tenders for CCTV project, again

<p>This is the fourth time the home department has invited tenders for the Rs 1,200-crore project to create a network of 6,000 CCTV cameras across Mumbai</p>

The Maharashtra government on Saturday invited tenders for its ambitious project to put in place a CCTV surveillance project for Mumbai. The tender notice invited applicants to participate in a competitive bidding process to ‘design, implement, and operate for five years a state-of-the-art IP-based CCTV surveillance system for Mumbai city’. The last date for submission is August 8.
