Four people have died of swine flu in Mumbai since January 19 out of 23 positive cases that have been detected so far, a top Brihanmubai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said today.
Additional Municipal Commissioner, Sanjay Deshmukh, in charge of health department said, “As of now there is no need to panic regarding swine flu outbreak in Mumbai. BMC is prepared for H1N1 and have kept two beds reserved in every hospital for patients. Along with KEM, Nair and Sion, we have treatment facilities in Kasturba hospital.”
