Thane: Thane police have registered a case of extortion against ten persons for blackmailing and threatening a Bhaynder-based TV actor.

While the incident took place on July 13, a case of extortion under section 386 (extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered last night. No arrested have been made so far, police said.
