Hundred tenements in the housing complexes built by private builders in the district have been handed over to the Maharashtra Public Works Department (PWD), to be used a government quarters

Thane: Hundred tenements in the housing complexes built by private builders in the district have been handed over to the Maharashtra Public Works Department (PWD), to be used a government quarters. The government has bought these tenements from the builders under a scheme. Yesterday, on the occasion of the Republic Day, Thane Guardian Minister Ekanth Shinde handed over the keys of these 100 tenements located in different housing complexes in Thane and Ulhasnagar region to Thane District Collector Mahendra Kalyankar to be given to the PWD.
