Thane Coastal Road-1 crosses 40 per cent completion mark, 501 girders erected in 14 months: MMRDA

Once integrated, these projects are expected to form an important part of Thane's future transport network and improve both urban mobility and regional freight movement, officials said

Work on the Thane Coastal Road-1 has crossed the 40 per cent completion mark within 14 months, with construction progressing rapidly across the 13.45-km corridor, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) said on Wednesday.

Foundation work, pier construction, pier-cap casting and I-girder erection are advancing at several locations along the project.
