A joint team of Vitthalwadi police and Ulhasnagar Crime Branch surprised a murderer, who had fled to Howrah, by reaching there before him and detaining him at the station. The man had fled after killing his wife, a former bar girl. He had even confessed to the crime to a friend, who had informed the police.
