Maharashtra: 60-year-old man found dead after suspected drowning in waterlogged area at Thane's Mumbra

Officials said police personnel from Daighar Police Station, with the assistance of local residents, recovered the body of the man from water before the fire brigade arrived

A 60-year-old man died after allegedly drowning in a waterlogged area at Mumbra in Thane district of Maharashtra, officials said on Wednesday.

The body was recovered with the help of local residents before fire brigade personnel reached the scene, they said.
