Thane fire: Blaze breaks out in five shanties in Kalwa, leading to cylinder explosion; no injuries reported

A fire broke out in five temporary shanties behind Sahyog Society near Kharegaon Bridge in Kalwa, Thane, on Friday morning.

A mini gas cylinder also exploded during the incident, which was reported at 9.23 am. All five shanties were locked when the fire broke out, and no one was inside, officials said.
