A gas pipeline was damaged during drainage work in Thane West in Maharashtra on Sunday afternoon, leading to a temporary disruption in gas supply to around 180 consumers in the Louiswadi area, officials said.

They said that no injuries were reported and the situation was brought under control shortly after the incident.
