Thane: Minor fire breaks out at Vegis Hotel in Thane, no injuries reported

A minor fire broke out in the kitchen chimney of Vegis Hotel on Dhokali-Kolshet Road in Thane West on Friday afternoon. Fire brigade officials quickly controlled the blaze within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported, and authorities are probing the exact cause of the incident

A minor fire broke out in the kitchen chimney of Vegis Hotel on Dhokali-Kolshet Road in Thane (West) on Friday afternoon. The fire incident prompted a swift response from the fire brigade and disaster management officials. No injuries were reported in the incident, officials said.

According to the Disaster Management Cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC), information about the fire was received at around 12:01 pm from the Balkum Fire Station. The incident occurred at Vegis Hotel, owned by Amol Pawar, located opposite D-Mart on Dhokali, Kolshet Road.
