Thane: Plastic sheet manufacturing unit gutted in Upvan; no injuries reported

fire broke out at SRK Traders, a plastic sheet manufacturing unit in Thane’s Upvan Industrial Area, early Sunday morning. The blaze destroyed machinery and raw materials and damaged the premises. Firefighters brought the fire under control by 7 am. No injuries were reported

A fire broke out at a plastic sheet manufacturing unit in Thane’s Upvan Industrial Area during the early hours of Sunday, damaging machinery, raw materials and the premises of the unit.

As per the officials, the fire was reported at around 6:21 am at SRK Traders, located at Pandey Industrial Estate in Upvan Industrial Area, Pokhran Road No. 1, Upvan, Thane West.
