Thane district reported as many as 12 new cases of Covid-19 and one infection related death on Friday. The fresh cases took the infection tally to 1,97,295, according to a bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
According to the civic body, one Covid-19 related death was reported on Friday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,164.

With addition of the latest coronavirus cases, Thane currently has 144 active cases.
17 Covid-19 patients recovered on November 4, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,987. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.83 per cent.
