The Thane City Traffic Police on Tuesday issued a detailed traffic regulation notification imposing major diversions and entry restrictions across Kalyan, Dombivali, Shilphata, Khoni Naka, and surrounding areas due to ongoing construction work under the Dedicated Freight Corridor Project.

According to the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Pankaj Shirsat, the work is being carried out under the JNPT-Vaitarana Section of the Western Corridor Phase-2 by the Express Freight Railway Consortium Limited.
