Thane to face 12-hour water cut on June 3 as TMC begins pre-monsoon maintenance work

The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a 12-hour water supply shutdown across several parts of the city on June 3 to undertake pre-monsoon maintenance and repair works at key water supply facilities.
According to a statement issued by the civic body on Thursday, maintenance work will be carried out at the high-pressure substations of the Pise pumping station and Temghar water purification centre, which are part of TMC’s own water supply scheme. The work includes repairs to control panels, transformer oil filtration and other technical maintenance activities.
