Thane water cut: Diva wards 27, 28 to go without water for 12 hours on Friday despite Janmashtami festivities

Thane’s Diva wards 27 and 28 will face a 12-hour water supply shutdown on Friday, September 4, as TMC repairs a leaking 800-mm main pipeline near Agasan Phatak. Residents may also face reduced water supply for one to two days after repairs

Thane’s Diva wards 27 and 28 will face a 12-hour water supply shutdown on Friday, September 4, as TMC repairs a leaking 800-mm main pipeline near Agasan Phatak. The disruption is likely to affect Janmashtami festivities, with reduced supply expected for one to two days after repairs.
According to the TMC, repairing the leakage is necessary to address water-related complaints faced by residents in Agasan, Betawade, Ganesh Nagar, Bedekar Nagar, Mhasoba Nagar, Shanti Nagar, BR Nagar, Mumbra Devi Colony, Sabe village, and parts of Diva West.
