Constable Anil Jagdane to be felicitated after he returned a bag containing 13 tolas of gold worth Rs 4 lakh to the rightful owner; in the past, on two separate occasions, he returned bags with Rs 90,000 and half a tola of gold in it

Even though most people don’t trust the Mumbai police, this Government Railway Police (GRP) constable forces a rethink. Constable Anil Jagdane, attached with the Kalyan GRP, returned a bag containing 13 tolas of gold to the rightful owner. However, this is not the first time that Jagdane’s honesty has been displayed. Twice before, Jagdane has returned lost bags to their owners.
