Mumbai finally welcomed showers on Saturday after a prolonged dry spell. However, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the monsoons haven't arrived yet.

According to an official from IMD Pune, "Due to the upper air cyclonic circulation over east central Arabian Sea off Karnataka and Goa coasts, it's raining in Mumbai. It will take another four days for rains to reach the city." Light showers accompanied by thunder could occur over the next 48 hours. The temperature in the coming days is likely&nbsp; to be around 29-34&ordm;C in Santacruz, and 30-35&ordm; C in Colaba.
