The death of animals in captivity inside Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) does not seem to be ending with tigress Puja dying on Wednesday evening following a brief illness.

The exact reason for the four-year-and-three-month-old tigress' death is yet to be known but doctors treating her suspect that she may have died due to leukemia. The exact reason will be known only after the post-mortem.
