Traditional fishermen from across Maharashtra have demanded a high-level inquiry into the functioning of Joint Commissioner of Fisheries Mahesh Devre, alleging that departmental directives issued after a recent ministerial meeting contradict the state's decision to strictly enforce the annual monsoon fishing ban.
