A truck accident on the Eastern Express Highway near Ghatkopar caused severe traffic congestion during Friday morning’s peak hours, significantly disrupting vehicular movement towards central and south Mumbai. 

The incident took place on the southbound carriageway near the Views by Adani residential complex, leading to long queues of vehicles and delays for commuters travelling from the eastern suburbs towards central and south Mumbai.
