In a major development in the ambitious Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link project connecting Sewri with Nhava Sheva, the Request for Qualification (RFQ) that Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) had invited for the construction of this longest sea bridge in the country, has received an overwhelming response.
Metropolitan Commissioner UPS Madan said, “We have received an excellent response for the MTHL RFQ.” 11 consortia have come forward for package one, 11 for package two and 17 for package three. MMRDA had invited RFQ for the MTHL in May.
