Tree branch falls on parked vehicles in Thane, no injuries reported

Following the alert, personnel from the Disaster Management Cell reached the site with a pickup vehicle, while the Fire Brigade deployed a fire engine to assist in the operation

A large branch of an almond tree fell on two parked cars near Kalavati Aai Temple in Rabodi No. 2, Thane West, on Thursday night, according to the Disaster Management Cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation.

The incident was reported to the civic body’s Disaster Management Cell at around 9:28 pm on May 7. Officials said the branch collapsed onto vehicles parked along the roadside in the Rabodi area.
