The Mumbai Crime Branch (CB) on Sunday recorded the statements of three top executives of Republic TV in connection with the TRP (Television Rating Points) scam and asked them to appear for further questioning on Monday. The CB's Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) questioned Republic TV chief executive officer (CEO) Vikas Khanchandani and chief operating officer (COO) Harsh Bhandari for nine hours at the Mumbai Police Headquarters.

Ghanshayam Singh, the distribution head of the channel, did not appear before the CIU citing a petition filed in the Supreme Court in connection with the TRP scam. But, the officers traced him to a resort in Daman.
