Mumbai: Two doctors from Mumbai's civic-run Shatabadi hospital died and two other employees got injured after their car rammed into a divider near Kamshet tunnel on the Pune-Mumbai expressway.

The tragic incident took place on Saturday at around 8pm when the victims were on their way to Mahabaleshwar for a two-day trip.
Dr Tushar More (47), a medical officer from the Govandi hospital was driving his Maruti Suzuki car. Police officials say he lost control of his vehicle and hit the divider and the car turned turtle.
Dr. More and his hospital's chief medical officer (CMO), Dr Ashok Shejwalkar (57) died in the incident.
While Dr More and Dr Shejwalkar died due to trauma and multiple injuries, their companions, Vinayak Padave (44) and Jagdish Gupta (48) were rushed to Lokmanya hospital in Chinchwad and got discharged later on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to midday, Padave who works as a clerk in the peripheral hospital said, &ldquo;Dr More was driving the car and the four of us left Shatabdi hospital at around 3.30 pm for Mahabaleshwar. I remember that the car turned turtle and as it neared the tunnel.&rdquo;
He further added that the relatives of the CMO who resides in Panvel collected his body from Kamshet government hospital where his postmortem was conducted. The body of Dr More, a Wadala resident, is yet to be claimed by anyone so far, the police added.
Meanwhile, an FIR was lodged under section 304(a) of the IPC. &ldquo;A case of culpable homicide amounting to murder was registered and the statements of Gupta and Padave were recorded,&rdquo; added a sub police inspector.
