A van caught fire at Terminal 2 (T2) of the Mumbai airport on Monday night at 11 pm. The six-seater van had come from Navsari, Gujarat.

Luckily, the passengers who whom it ferried to T2 were already out to take their trolleys and no passenger was affected. However, all their baggage was burnt. The passengers continued their journey to Brussels by a Jet Airways flight.

The incident took place at Lane 3 in front of gate 3 (departures).
