Maharashtra Legislative Assembly speaker Babasaheb Kupekar on Thursday said that the resignation of Congress MLA Nana Patole has been accepted.

Patole, who hails from Vidarbha region, had during the winter session of the state legislature in Nagpur last year announced that he was resigning from the House over the State government's apathetic attitude towards crucial issues like Vidarbha's development and farmers' suicides in the region.
