Vijender Singh, who yesterday became the world's number boxer in the 75 kg category, has reportedly learnt some cool martial arts moves from trainer Yajness Shhetty.
Vijender Singh, who yesterday became the world's number boxer in the 75 kg category, has reportedly learnt some cool martial arts moves from trainer Yajness Shhetty.
Shhetty specialises in the wu shu, Shaolin Kung Fu and Jeet Kune Do, which was conceptualised by Bruce Lee, fighting styles.

"We discussed the script of an action film. Vijender liked the script and decided to train in martial arts for the film. He will come to Mumbai again shortly to meet me," Shhetty said.

"Shhetty did tell me about a movie proposal, but I do not know if I will take up martial arts training seriously.

I am a professional boxer first. I do not know if this is the right time to try other things."
The boxer's coach, G S Sandhu added, "We advised Vijender to take a one-month break after the World Championships. He may have some other commitments in the rest month."
