Villager kills man over money-related tiff in Thane

Thane: A middle-aged man was crushed to death under a jeep allegedly by a villager in Sahapur taluka of the district over a scuffle on a money related matter, police said on Thursday.

Deepak Andale, 42, a native of Sapgaon village, had lent some money as loan to Kiran Bangar, 27, of Beradwadi village in the district. A scuffle broke out between the two when Andale asked Kiran to return his money, Shahpur police station inspector Sanjay Dhumal said.
