A day after filmmaker Karan Johar was served summons by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning in connection with the drugs-Bollywood links probe, the Maharashtra Congress on Friday demanded to know why a "self-confessed drug abuser" and actress Kangana Ranaut was not yet called for quizzing.

"Though the NCB has taken note of an old video of Karan Johar's home party, why is similar cognisance not taken of Kangana Ranaut's videos in which she confessed to drug addiction?" Congress Spokesperson Sachin Sawant questioned here.
