Worker survives fall from scaffolding on fifth floor in Thane

<p>A 20-year-old construction worker from Bhiwandi survived with multiple fractures after falling from bamboo scaffolding around the fifth floor of a building recently</p>

A 20-year-old construction worker from Bhiwandi survived with multiple fractures after falling from bamboo scaffolding around the fifth floor of a building recently. Jagdish Kumar Gupta, originally from Uttar Pradesh, works along with construction contractors in the central suburbs. He suffered multiple fractures after the fall on June 21, but he did not sustain severe trauma (injuries) that could have proved fatal.

After being treated in a local hospital, Gupta was rushed to KEM hospital, Parel, on the afternoon of Friday for further treatment.
