Seasoned diplomat Yuriy R Fedkiw has assumed charge as the new United States (US) Consul General in Mumbai. Fedkiw, who had earlier served in Pakistan and China, assumed the charge on July 7.

Before coming to Mumbai, Fedkiw previously served in Bern, Switzerland, as the Counselor for Political-Economic Affairs and long-term Acting Deputy Chief of Mission covering relations with the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein.
