With an aim to enhance road safety, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed the state representatives to expedite the process of Automated Vehicle Testing Stations (ATS) in the state.
Every year, nearly nine lakh of state’s 36.80 lakh transport vehicles will need to undergo mandatory tests. To streamline this process and improve transparency, CM has directed that all such inspections be carried out only through ATS, in line with upcoming central rules.
