The machine, known as Accurate-All is capable of doing 23 different blood tests including glucose testing, urea, cholesterol etc. The standard fee for this is close to Rs. 5000 at any private lab. Accurate-All does the job for a mere Rs. 109.
Amit and his team have set up the machine at the medical camp in Ramlila Maidan. Accurate-All runs on a UPS battery and can do so for 7 days. The machine has been given approval by Col.
Renu Malar of the Research and Referral Hospital and by the Department of Laboratory Medicine, AIIMS. Amit is a qualified mechanical engineer from IIT, Roorkee. He has done his MS from Pennsylvania State University.
