Relatives say that had 36-yr-old Shalini Kakade been admitted by Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital during the golden hour, her life could have been saved; authorities claim they administered first aid, but couldn't admit her because they neither had a vacant ventilator, nor bed in the ICU.
Thirty-six-year-old Shalini Kakade, who sustained serious injuries after a massive tree came crashing down on her at Samarth Road in Karvenagar on Monday evening, breathed her last at Sahyadri hospital early yesterday morning.

Deadly mishap: Shalini Kakade was crushed under a huge Babool tree at Samarth Road in Karvenagar while she was returning home from work on Monday evening.
