Pune: “My husband cannot leave me alone with our two sons. I feel like an orphan. God, give him back,” said Pranjal Gawade, the inconsolable wife of Naik Pandurang Mahadev Gawade, the 32-year-old soldier from Maharashtra, who was injured while fighting five Lashkar terrorists at Drugmulla village on Saturday in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, and died on Sunday.
