Chanakya is city's first child anchor to host Extra Innings for IPL
Chanakya Verma (12), a student of National Public School (NPS), Indiranagar is all set to bowl out biggies including Chennai Super King MS Dhoni at the DLF IPL 3. He is warming up for a short stint on Extra Innings as the city's first child anchor on the cricket talk show.
Tough competition
Chanakya is one among eight kids, chosen from as many cities across India, including Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi to play extra innings of IPL T20 matches.
The winners beat over 1,000 other participants to win the honour. Chanakya has lined up surprises for his icons, including Chennai Super Kings captain MSD, Royal Challengers captain Anil Kumble and players like Virat Kohli, Mathew Hayden and Ross Taylor who are scheduled to visit the city.
