'Results will be declared a month after final exams'

Dr MS Talawar, the registrar (evaluation), wants to rid BU of its reputation for delaying univ results every year; says action to be taken against erring evaluators
Bangalore University (BU) wants to rid itself of its reputation for delaying results every semester. With this end in view, Dr M S Talawar, the registrar (evaluation), is working out what he considers an ironclad action plan.
Evaluators who refuse to correct answer papers on time and those who shirk work citing health reasons will be taken to task, Talawar says.

He says he is confident the evaluation of answer sheets generated during the upcoming April/May examinations will be completed within the scheduled one month.
