'Stone' kills nine-year-old boy watching cricket match

Nine-year-old Pratik Sudrik was watching a cricket match organised by a local group Gurudutta Pratishthan at Morwadi, Pimpri.
During the course of the match, he fainted after being hit by what many think was a stone. A Pimpri police official said, "The boyu00a0 was first taken to Lifecare hospital and then shifted to Unique Hospital. But he was announced dead on arrival."
Sudrik's body was taken to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital for post-mortem.
According to the police, Sudrik had black and blue marks above his ear, indicating internal bleeding.
The police are awaiting the post-mortem report to verify the cause of death.
