14-year-old rape victim commits suicide in Jharkhand

A 14-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide at her home in Koderma district, a week after she was raped, the police said today

"The girl died after consuming poison last night," Superintendent of Police Hemant Toppo said here.
According to the FIR, the minor girl was returning home from school under Jaynagar police station when the accused forcibly took her to an isolated place and raped her on September 11.
