18-year-old hangs self at hospital staff quarters, leaves no suicide note

Teen, who had arrived in the city to pursue his studies, was living with a hospital employee in the St George Hospital staff quarters
Three months after arriving in the city to complete his education, an 18-year-old boy was found hanging at the staff quarters of the St George Hospital, Fort, on Wednesday. Police said the deceased left no suicide note, and the post-mortem report ascertains the time of death between 2 to 3 am. The teenager identified as Balaji Madan Thackrey hails from Kapsi village in Loha taluka, Nanded, and was residing with a family friend Narendra Borlepawar (34), a clinical photographer who works at the hospital. Thackrey was found hanging from the ceiling fan by Borlepawar’s wife at 8 am.
