2 Indian institutes among 31 that receive $8.5 million Google grant

The funding is part of Google.orgs $100 million commitment to Covid-19 relief.

The Indian Institute of Science (IIS), Bengaluru and Indian Institute of Technology in Gandhinagar were among 31 organisations worldwide that will receive more than $8.5 million from Google to aid in Covid-19 response.

Three of these organisations will also receive the pro-bono support of Google.org Fellowship teams, Google said in a statement.
