When the results were declared, he wasn&rsquo;t in a state to react or express joy as he had high fever. His mother Lalitha, said, &quot;Shreeram was having 104 degree fever when his result came out last year. He couldn&rsquo;t even see the articles about him and appreciate it. He was initially diagnosed with leptospirosis and later also had jaundice. All these illnesses lead to low immunity in his body.&quot; There was a tie for the highest scorer in the city between Shreeram, who was from Apeejay School, Nerul, and EA Nasrin Jaleel from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Powai as both had scored 97.6% in the Science stream. He was also a Rotarian during his school time. He scored full marks (100/100) in Mathematics and notched up an almost perfect score in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science as well.
