As 21 more cases of H1N1 infection were detected yesterday, the total number of people to test positive for the swine flu virus rose to 191.
"There have been 2,252 screenings throughout the city yesterday, out of which 21 were detected positive," said Dr Vijay Powar, resident medical officer at the District Civil Hospital.
47 in hospital
A total of 47 patients are hospitalised, of which three patients are on ventilator.
Twelve patients have been admitted to isolation wards in different hospitals.
The number of patients discharged was 27.
So far, the city has recorded nine deaths because of swine flu.
