On the eve of Diwali, 32 families of the fire brigade employees were asked to vacate their residential building at the Byculla Fire Brigade by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ( BMC). The building was declared dilapidated and dangerous by the BMC at approximately 4.30 pm on Saturday evening.
