File pic After hearing prosecution&rsquo;s arguments, which were based on instructions given by the liaison officer from Taloja jail, Justice R C Chavan ordered Katira to be shifted to the prison ward at JJ Hospital for treatment, forthwith. &ldquo;The latest medical report should be made available to the court on June 19. If the medical report prepared by the jail authorities is ready, this should also be made available,&rdquo; Chavan said in his order. The prosecution was to submit the medical report prepared by jail authorities on Monday. However, it was unable to do so. The court criticised the jail authorities for being unable to furnish the report by fax, mail or telephone. Case history The Mulund police officials had arrested Katira, a freelance photographer, on November 19, 2011. They recovered a huge collection of pornography from his Mulund residence where he was residing alone after his wife&rsquo;s death five years earlier. He has been accused of filming the rape of the victims, daughters of a tailor, after luring them with sweets and money. According to the police, he had been filming his own sexual activities for over 12 years. Investigations revealed that Katira had also allegedly molested the girls&rsquo; dance teacher. Four days after his arrest, the Bombay High Court took suo motu cognisance of the case, after a local NGO wrote to the chief justice. Later, an inquiry was ordered against the investigating officer for allegedly beating one of the victims.
