Vaidya, who lived on the fourth floor of the White Lily apartment, was standing in his balcony when the incident occurred at around 4 pm.u00a0

On hearing a loud thud, residents rushed to the spot and saw Vaidya lying in a pool of blood.

The watchman informed the Shivaji Park police immediately. Vaidya’s body was taken to Sion Hospital for post mortem. The police have registered a case of accidental death.
