As many as 92 students, who were led to believe they had failed, can breathe easy now. 82 HSC students and 10 SSC students, who had earlier scored failing grades, were declared passed by the board after their answer sheets were evaluated. To add to these figures, a whopping 445 HSC and 209 SSC students’ papers have returned with increased marks.

While the change in scores is certainly good news for the students — many of whom will now qualify for the colleges of their choice — the high number of changed results has alarmed others, raising questions about the accuracy of the board’s evaluation process.
