There are some who don’t agree with my assessment of the English channels on Results Day in this column last Saturday (May 17). They felt that I have been “unnecessarily unkind” to NDTV 24x7.

For someone who has been a die-hard Prannoy Roy fan for election results, opinion polls and the Union Budget, I thought its Results Day coverage was disappointing. The format was slow and boring and the selection of in-studio guests on a channel like CNN-IBN was better.
