Ghaziabad special court asks CBI to come with case diary on January 7 during hearing on the closure report filed by the investigating agency

The special CBI court in Ghaziabad on Monday asked the investigating body the same question everyone's been wondering about since the agency filed a closure report in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case.

"What was the hurry (in filing a closure report)?" special Judicial Magistrate (CBI) Preeti Singh demanded. "Where are the documents (annexures) of the closure report?" she asked.

The court also rejected the appeal filed by Aarushi Talwar's parents against the investigating agency filing its closure report into the murder of their 13-year-old daughter.

The court said Talwars' appeal is premature, adding that it wants a chance to go through the CBI's closure report - filed last week - and relevant documents. The court set January 7 as the next hearing date of the case, and asked the Investigating Officer to submit all relevant documents related to the case.
