A 25-year-old lady advocate was stabbed to death in the Karnataka High Court premises on Thursday. Naveena was attending a matter at the court hall number 4 when she was stabbed at 1.50 pm.

The victim was on the first floor of the high court, when Rajappa stabbed her multiple times on her face neck and body. He then ran towards the toilet and attempted to slit his own throat but was held by a group of advocates and the court's security staff. Rajappa was then rushed to the Mallya hospital.
